Our flagship youth financial literacy event

The Youth Expo is the biggest thing we run: hundreds of students in one place for a day of hands-on financial literacy booths, guest speakers, and career exploration. Student volunteers design and staff every booth, so the people teaching budgeting and saving are the same age as the people learning it.

Money basics for grades 3–5

A week-long day camp where elementary schoolers learn what money is, how saving works, and why budgets matter, through games and simulations instead of lectures. By the end of the week, campers run their own pretend businesses and manage their own play-money budgets.

Deeper financial concepts for grades 6–8

The middle school camp goes further: budgeting real numbers, how credit and interest work, and first looks at investing, taught through projects and simulations built by our student volunteers. It's the bridge between money basics and the decisions these students will face in high school.

Live financial education sessions

Every week we host a free online session on a single topic: budgeting, saving, credit, or investing basics, with open Q&A at the end. These screenshots capture our presenters and participants in action. Anyone can join; registration is on our Join a program page.

Workshops and events for women

Our Women's Chapter runs monthly workshops on the financial questions women face, from pay negotiation to retirement planning, plus mentorship and peer support groups. These photos come from those sessions. Read more on the Women's Chapter page.

Community outreach at the Independence Day parade

We set up at our local July 4th celebration with a booth, free take-home materials, and volunteers ready to talk money with anyone who stopped by. Community events like this are how many families first find Finance Forest, and how we raise funds for local causes.

Behind the scenes of our short-form videos

Finance Bites are our three-to-five-minute videos that each break down one financial concept, posted weekly on social media. This album shows the filming and planning behind them. Watch the finished videos on our Instagram.
